Ever wondered how powerful your limiting beliefs are? You make your plans. You set your goals. It’s all with the aim of achieving what you want. It all sounds great. And then it doesn’t happen. Apparently, it doesn’t seem to matter how positive you are. Something holds you back when you consider the future, your future ambitions, and your ambitious new model of the world. It always holds you back. A recurring hurdle that appears impossible to overcome.
Now, take a moment. Firstly, consider the plans you’ve made, the ones you’re aiming for, and the ones you’ve abandoned in the past. Next, work out how you berate yourself when your plans turn out differently from what you want. Then establish how you chastise your inability to succeed. Finally, note what you say to justify your lack of success. Think carefully about the words you use. And recognise how frequently you treat yourself this way and how deeply you believe all that you say to limit your choices and your life.
It’s something that most of us have done at some point. Initially, we’re so confident and optimistic. Events then unfold differently from what we want, and the negative self-talk starts. Consequently, the downward spiral has begun. And the result is that we start to believe the negative self-talk. This leads to us making limiting decisions which then form our limiting beliefs. Suddenly, we’re reducing our choices, we’re no longer seeing opportunities, and our worlds become smaller.
Now imagine believing the opposite about yourself. That’s to say, believing totally, completely, sincerely, genuinely, that life can be the way that you want. Trusting that you can have what you want to have, do what you want to do, and be who you want to be. Embrace the possibilities and options that suddenly become available to you. Understand the excitement of moving into a model of the world that works for you. If you can do it, do it now. And if you need support, book an initial consultation here. And you know that you can do it, don’t you?
