Happiness is a direction, not a place.

Introduction to 7 Steps Towards Happiness.
The pursuit of happiness is probably as old as humanity. It is a constant exploration of what happiness means and how it affects us all. While our experience of happiness is undoubtedly as unique as us, there are a number of steps we can take to improve our underlying sense of happiness and well-being. Consequently, by improving our underlying state of happiness, our eudaimonia, this can increase our chance of success in all aspects of our lives. Just imagine what that’s like!
The 7 Steps Towards Happiness.
Definitions Understanding the definition of happiness and how, rather than pursuing happiness, there may be a better route to being happy.
Resilience If we learn how to build resilience, which we can do, we can become happier, because resilient people tend to be happier, and happy people tend to be more resilient.
Nature Learning how our interaction with nature can increase our happiness.
People Building better networks with greater contact with others can improve our happiness.
Attitude Learning what actions will help shift our overall attitude which in turn triggers greater happiness (it’s no good trying to shift your attitude as it rarely works).
Renewal Learning to create “me time” in which we recharge our batteries and lose ourselves in something which we enjoy.
Goals and Plans Improving our understanding of the importance of goals and plans which give us direction and purpose.
